Celeste: Lost "Game Awards"

In 2018, the developer team of Extremely OK Games for Celeste (from 19.98 € at Buy) was awarded the price as "Best Independent Game" at the Game Awards. And although the trophy was presented live in the show to the representatives of the studio, they never found the way to Vancouver due to unclear circumstances, the home of extremeely ok games. A few days ago, the award has actually reappeared - when auction on eBay.

The trophy was found by Youtuber Prestige Icekey, who actually wanted to bid only a replica as a fan of the award ceremony of Geoff Keighley. When the package arrived at him, however, he quickly realized that it was a real award. An engraving on the underside of the trophy made this clear. The Youtuber contacted the developer team and returned their deserved price to the studio. In a video PrestigeiKey now told his story and at the same time present the "Game Awards" trophy in close-up.

Extremely ok Games thanked the Youtuber with the return of eBay auction and still put some copies of Celeste on top, signed by the developer studio staff. The next game awards are expected to take place again at the beginning of December in Los Angeles.
