How does Loot work? When Loten, New World sets a special system. Because every armament slot and any weapon slot remember how well your previous Loot was and on this basis you have a chance for better equipment.

The developer explains the system to the following example:

If you have an opponent at level 62, which drops you a sword with the armor 510, then the weapons slot knows that your maximum armor is there level 510. For other slots, however, there is another maximum armor value, especially according to Drops. However, you do not have to create or wear the weapon or armor. The system remembers the value anyway. From now on, you have a very little chance of an object with a higher armor. Whenever, however, you get a weaker item than level 510, your chance rises to an object with a higher armor. However, there is a cap with the monsters. Opponents of Stage 61 can drop maximum equipment up to the armor X, opponents of level 62 to the value Y. Named opponents (elite opponents and bosses) always have a greater chance of greater equipment.

What does that mean concrete? You can give your armouring value with time targeted and eventually have a guaranteed chance for better equipment. However, the system also has a disadvantage.

You buy early good equipment in the trading post or the faction dealer, then this has no influence on the Item Slot. So if you have a weapon with the armor 510, but so far only got weapons with the value 300 drooped, you have to race the armor first until your better equipment gets.
