Since the release of the new Empireum residential area in the Final Fantasy XIV, players suffered due to the system of lottery on the distribution of housing. When the system was launched with Patch 6.0, an annoying error led to the fact that number 0 as a winner was sometimes recorded in the lottery. Thus, even if one player participates in the auction, he can lose with a zero result!
But this issue will be finally resolved May 16 according to the new message by the game director and producer of Naoki Yoshid. According to the report, on April 19, Final Fantasy XIV was maintained to try to reset the results of the lottery. After a week of testing, the team checked the corrections on April 25. So now all the results of the original lottery will be restored.
If you won the house in the case in the previous lottery, it will remain with you. However, if you lost to the number 0, the results of the lottery will be changed to the actual result. But you will have to wait a few days.
According to Yoshida, maintenance for the restoration and implementation of these corrections will occur on Monday, May 16. This delay is probably due to the fact that the Ultimate RAID race is currently undergoing, and any maintenance will significantly interrupt the race. Nevertheless, the expectation of several more days will still be disappointing for impatient potential homeowners.
