Blizzard will publish the PVP and PVE part of OverVATCH 2 separately and there is to be regular news now.
For a long time it was cursed silently around Oververt 2. The continuation was announced in 2019 and there is still no release date. That Blizzard has published the last time picture material is already felt forever. But now movement comes to the whole story. The developer team has speaked after a long silence phase and made two important announcements.
On the one hand, it is clear that Blizzard will bring the PVE and PVP component separately to the market separately. The latter is therefore not to wait too long anymore, while we certainly have to wait for all the story content for a while. Concrete appointments are still not available in both cases.
The chances are not bad that the PVP part of OverVATCH 2 will appear this year, because in a not too distant future, the first of you will get the opportunity to try it out. A closed alpha has already started, but at which only employees of Blizzard, professionals of the Owatch League and "other selected groups" are allowed to participate. Since there is an NDA for this test phase, no picture material is involved in the public - other than someone wants to become the leader and engage trouble. At the end of April, then the first closed beta should start, for which you can already register on the official website. Consider, however, that it will only take place on the PC. Console players definitely remain excluded.
In the beta of Owatch 2 will be playable with SOJOURN a new heroine with an offensive orientation. Likewise, the testers will be able to throw a look at the new mode "thrust". Furthermore, revisions of well-known characters (Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion and Sombra), four new maps and a new ping system are confirmed.
Last but not least, Blizzard promises that there is now regular news about Overwatch 2. One apologizes for the fact that you have preserved silence as long and be aware that OverVATCH 1 was neglected last. The focus of the developer team has long long been on the continuation. But if the PVP content will appear in a not too distant future, this also means that players will then be served from Part 1 fresh food, as both games share the same PVP multiplayer.
