It certainly feels like an eternity, since the LEC Spring Split ended 2022, but finally the Spring playoffs have started, and this weekend we were spoiled with three series, which certainly did not have disappointed. The king of the regular season, rogue, was able to prevail 3-1 against misfits - a performance that FNATIC imitated in an exciting matchup against the long-standing rival G2 eSports. Of course, the Silver Scrapes once had to play, and they also did as Vitality a 3: 2 victory over Excel Esports.
The longer period of three weeks between the end of the split and the playoffs has given the players the rare opportunity to take a break to reset, spend time with friends and family and work with the rest of their team to improve their game. While Andrei, Odoamne 'Pascu of Rogue enjoyed these advantages, he admits the PC player 24 that time without preparing for the playoffs "the rhythm of the team has brought a little confused".
For Odoamne - whose history as a competition swimmer has shaped his approach to conditioning during a competition season - was the time that the training lacked the training was pretty shaken. "Even when I was in my swimming days, her body is simply on the absolute [peak]," he explains. "With the rhythm of the routine and daily repetition, your body starts working like a well oiled machine.
"Since I've started playing in Lec, we never had this break, and I'm going from [Practice] meant that the efficiency sank." The Romanian notes that when the team returned to his preparations, " The things clicked again ", which led to a positive experience overall.

Of course you would not be able to say that Rogue and Odoamne were briefly from the foot of the foot, measured at the sharpness of the performance of the team against the misfits on Friday. To the games, the TOPLANER says that in every game, "surprisingly simple and clear to play" has felt - though the team game three "sad" has - thanks to the strength of his designs and the power of his trains.
Perhaps most interesting, and as Odoamne says "Untypical" for Rogue, the team played strongly through his top side for a large part of the series. Together with Kim, Malrang 'Geun-Seong, the laureate of the LEC All-Pro First Team, the two managed to eradicate their colleagues from the misfits - especially in the first two games.
Odoamne steered Rumble, Jayce and Gnar through the entire series and was very familiar with comfort picks. Apart from that, there was a remarkable absence in the Top Lane Pool, which we saw throughout the series (and actually on the weekend): Graves.
The top Lane Meta of League of Legends was largely determined in the last seasons, as Odamne emphasized by the then most broken object. So far we have seen the rise of Hullbreaker with Graves and Gnar as premium pairings in the LEC this year, next to the occasional purchase for Camille.
According to the Nerfs for Hullbreaker in Patch 12.5, however, the temporary object has fallen into disgrace. While many have celebrated his decline, Odamne is sad that it works. "Personally, I really enjoyed the HullBreaker Meta," he says, "because in a certain way, in the Meta, it was no longer the object." As most meta-champions Hullbreaker build, Odamne has the feeling that Lanes actually performed now Pure skills and champion matchups are decided rather than who could build the stronger object.
Since HullBreaker is now no longer in the picture, Odoamne believes that Champions - especially Jayce - who can benefit from Eclipse, will be the first blind picks. In the 13 games of this weekend, Jayce has already pulled eight bans as he was picked up three times - each time before the opposing top Lane pick became known.
For the most part Odoamne says, however, that most of the top-lane picks are movable at the moment, as long as they fit the COMP of the team. Of course, Power Picks like Jayce are rather emerging, but with a fantastic performance at Rumble in the first match against misfits on the hump marked his first piloting of the champion in 2022, it looks like we could see a decent level of versatility During the playoffs - assumed, of course, Jayce stays under the spanhammer.
Rogue will be back in action next Saturday when it comes to FNATIC in the semi-final's semi-final.
