The Leaker Tom Henderson, who is reliable in the gaming community through numerous correct leaks, shared a screenshot of system requirements (via twitter.com). It is about the minimum and recommended hardware that should use PC players for the playtest.
So the information is not official yet, but have a good view of how the requirements for the new Battlefield 2042 could look like in 2021.

Which quality can be achieved with the hardware? in the system requirements of Battlefield 2042, which are known so far, a statement is missing for quality. Usually, these are specified for fullHD resolutions with high (not highly high) graphics details.
The minimum hardware could even be intended for 720p resolutions to output a more fluid image.
However, more detailed from the information shown so far goes out.
It is striking that the minimum system requirements are similar, as the system requirements for Battlefield 5. For recommended hardware, it should already be a stronger processor and a stronger graphics card.

When is the release? The release of Battlefield 2042 is on October 22, 2021.
There is a trailer? In June, EA published a 3-minute trailer with action-packed gameplay to Battlefield 2042. Above all, you can see mighty vehicles.
When does the beta start? In September, the beta starts to Battlefield 2042. A now deleted blog post from EA called as a concrete start-deadlines:
