While the (well-good) predecessors remembered Heroes of Might & Magic, it is to be significantly expanded in the successor of the role-playing aspect. Decisions should be important, no matter if there is fighting against Undead or relationships with villagers. Also moral decisions are planned. Three heroes, all with their own story, will lead through a non-linear adventure in an open fantasy world. From the third-person perspective (trackers' perspective) travel through the realm, quests, explores the wilderness and talks to the residents. However, as soon as a struggle begins, the game changes to a tactical perspective based on HEXfelder.
King's Bounty 2 will be released on 24 August 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One. 1C Entertainment has been working on the game for four years. About 150 employees involved in the last production phases. It is estimated that the playing time will be over 50 hours.
